Chiropractic has come a long way. We can now treat people with out having to twist, turn, pop and crack. While there is nothing wrong with this method some people find it intimidating, scary, or just plain uncomfortable.

Advances in computers and engineering have made it possible to deliver the chiropractic adjustment in an upright seated position that is safe and very, very comfortable for all including infants and the elderly. The computer first tests the motion of each vertebrae in the spine. This is the same sensing technology that NASA subcontractors have used in the space program in order to evaluate the integrity of the ceramic cooling tiles on the outside of space shuttles. The aviation industry, and engineers have used this technology in order to test metal fatigue in aircraft and bridges. When a vertebrae does not have enough motion it compresses nerve roots cutting off or diminishing the brains ability to communicate with certain areas of the body causing dysfunction and often pain. Once areas of dysfunction are determined the Proadjuster utilizes a precise oscillating force with uninterrupted motion. This means the Proadjuster is “unsticking” the joint, relieving nerve pressure. If you have ever seen a woodpecker tapping in an oscillating fashion on a tree, its hard to believe that they can bore right through the hardest wood but they can. The Proadjuster taps in much the same way but it uses soft tips that are very comfortable.

The Proadjuster technology is extremely useful in the treatment of automobile injuries, children, the elderly (especially with osteoporosis), and sports injuries.
